    Vancouver Islands’ only non-profit agency dedicated to better hearing health with unique support and services to Deaf and hard of hearing individuals and communities.

    Island Deaf and Hard of Hearing Centre is a non profit and provides services and support to Deaf and hard of hearing individuals and their families across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. From our offices in Victoria and Nanaimo we have full service hearing health clinics with registered audiologists; employment support from experienced case managers; registered ASL interpreters and captioning services across the province; assistive technology demonstration, loans and sales.

    Sound of Change Initiative

    With the support of donors and through purchases of hearing aids and services, Island Deaf and Hard of Hearing Centre (IDHHC) is able to provide free hearing assessments, refurbished hearing aids, and communication devices to vulnerable and at-risk populations including low-income seniors and adults.
